Wood Automotive is a pioneer in the development of the
Tremec 6 speed transmissions to suit the Australian market.
We are constantly developing new upgrades, mainly for Holdens and Fords, with calculated attention to detail, ensuring the right transmission is supplied the first time, whilst taking engine output and overall drive ratio into account.
The
022 Series II is our latest re-engineered transmission. Specially
developed for a replacement for the high ratio "022" as
used as standard fitment in V8 Commodores, this transmission
gives the Commodore owner a 6 speed transmission with improved
ratio option in 5th and 6th for increased performance, drivability
and reliability.
The
T56 6 speed has been re-engineered to fit most V8 Holdens from
early models through to current models. The supercharged V6
6 speed upgrade is one of the most recent addition to our range.
It is an ideal option when used with “012” ratios
and a 3.46:1 diff ratio.
The Ford range had also been extensively developed with the T56 upgrades available for the EB –EL Series V8 Fords and also the AU V8 including the T Series. (Complete AU T56 Upgrade costs $7095).
The BA XR6 Turbo, XR8 "260", and GT/GTP/Pursuit "290" T56 6 Speed upgrade is also available.
For Supercharged and Turbocharged 6 cylinder EA to AU models we offer our tough and proven T56 6 speed upgrade.
T56 upgrades for earlier model Fords such as XC-XD Flacons with Cleveland engines are also available.
